Sharpe Project Developments served as the Owner Representative for the exterior façade renovation of the Esplanade on the New River, a 16-story, 138-unit condominium building located in downtown Fort Lauderdale.

The project involved comprehensive façade restoration that entailed exterior concrete repair, waterproofing of planters and painting of the building and garage while maintaining resident safety, access, and communication throughout construction in the occupied building. During construction, the project encountered a significant unforeseen condition of a post-tension cable breakage within an occupied unit’s balcony area, requiring immediate coordination with structural engineers and specialty contractors. Sharpe Project Developments proactively managed schedule adjustments coordinated corrective work, and minimized impacts to residents and ongoing construction activities.

Through close collaboration with consultants and subcontractors, disciplined cost management, and proactive scheduling efforts, the team successfully mitigated delays and completed the project on time and under budget.
