Sharpe Project Developments was selected to manage a comprehensive capital improvement program for Playa del Sol, a 27-story, 370-unit condominium on Fort Lauderdale Beach. Originally built in 1974, the property is undergoing a full modernization effort to address critical infrastructure, building systems, and life safety enhancements.
The project scope includes a full roof replacement, replacement of three cooling towers, riser replacement, fire alarm and sprinkler system modifications, BDA installation, and waterproofing and paver deck replacement. Additional improvements include corridor beautification to enhance the resident experience and overall property value.
Sharpe Project Developments is coordinating with First Service Residential, the property manager, and a team of specialized consultants to ensure the successful delivery of this multidisciplinary project. By addressing both building envelope and system upgrades, the renovation ensures long-term durability and compliance with current safety requirements.
