Sharpe Project Developments is leading the build-out of an 85,000 square foot cold storage and distribution facility inside PriceSmart’s 300,000 square foot Building 9 Dry Distribution Center. The project is in early development, with design consultants being procured to advance schematic design.

The new facility will provide 42,000 square feet of frozen storage (-10°), 43,000 square feet of fresh storage (35°), new office space, and 12,000 square feet of staged cold storage growth. Work also includes upgrades to the building shell, main power service, and emergency systems.

By consolidating rented cold storage into this state-of-the-art facility, PriceSmart will reduce costs and improve efficiency. The use of Carbon Dioxide refrigeration over freon ensures sustainability, long-term reliability, and modern performance.
