Sharpe Project Developments served as the Owner’s Representative for the Grayvik Animal Care & ORCAT Adoption Center, a purpose-built facility located within the Ocean Reef community in Key Largo, Florida. The approximately 8,500-square-foot, two-story building integrates veterinary services, animal housing, and adoption spaces to support one of the community’s most impactful nonprofit initiatives.

The project faced several challenges, including a constrained site within a high-traffic area, a budget limited by donor funding, and a schedule tied to the completion of the broader ORC SPA project. Sharpe Project Developments provided value through strong consultant management, design coordination, and site plan approvals during preconstruction, followed by disciplined change and schedule management during construction.

Despite multiple change orders, the project was successfully delivered on time and within budget, providing a high-quality facility that supports both animal care and community engagement.
